Types of Barbells
/ An internally threaded jewelry bead has a receiving tube machined into it and having a threaded post extending from the center. The internally threaded barbells got its name because its bar has smooth ended with receiving threads tapped into the end of the bar. More expensive compared to externally threaded jewelry.
/ The Externally Threaded is used when the gauge of the bar is extremely small and permit it to be internally threaded. Most of the industrialist makes externally threaded barbell with "step-down threading". A step down jewelry can be a set into the blunt end of a hallow piercing needle which lets in a less botheration or an annoyance to the initial placement than to a regular external barbell.
/ Curved barbell is alike a straight barbell, just that it is not curved. Also referred to a spiral or it has a variation of the designs - banana ball. A curved barbell could be used the two way. External Threaded and Internally Threaded.
/ Circular barbell also known as a horseshoe barbell are used as tragus rings or earrings. It is least popular.
/ Surface bar is used for a barbell when the bar is paired for a 90 degree bends, in the same direction.
