Eyebrow Piercing Care

Eyebrow Piercing, popularized some where between 1980 and the ONLY piercing having no recognized symbolic meaning associated. This fashionable piercing among the coolest place for jewelry. The healing period tends to take 6- 8 weeks also depending on the individual. An eyebrow piercing *may* swell after the piercing which is very likely to have bruise, swelling or even bleed. The eyebrow piercing is known as the user-friendly facial piercing. Today, eyebrow piercing is socially accepted.

It is never advisable to use an ear gun for eyebrow piercing. Jewelry used for eyebrow piercing are captive bead rings, and curved barbells . Never use a surface bar or any other sort of jewelry. The eyebrow is a sensitive area because it is closed to the eye. During the first few weeks of eyebrow piercing avoid sauna and sunbathing. The significant point for eyebrow piercing is to remember is to avoid the risk for the infection.

Do FACTORS on Eyebrow Piercing -
1. Always wash hands with soap ( the antibacterial) before piercing or touching an eyebrow ring. It is essential to prevent from infection
2. Regular piercing cleaning because a dirt could irritate into the piercing, including home dust and pollution. Practically clean the piercing 3 times a day.
3. Only wash the piercing and its ring with the antibacterial soap on a cotton swab to make sure the crustiness is removed. Rinse, and gradually pat it try with clean paper towel. While shower use a bath towel , to avoid the gem spread, snagging the rings or even getting into the piercing.
4. Salt water is also used to clean the piercing
5. Take vitamin C only with the doctor's approval in order to help fight off infection and to promote healing.
6. Leave the ring or barbell in place for at least 6 months so that the piercing does not close up.

Don't FACTORS for Eyebrow Piercing -
1. Any sort of alcohol/ peroxide/ beta dine should be avoided because it can dry out the wound. Bacteria and pus can leak out and crust around the ring/barbell.
2. Make up isn't advisable between the piercing.
3. Swimming is prohibited until the time of healing is fully processed because there are ample of bacteria found in what and could be infectious.
4. Not to touch/play with the ring/barbell ( unnecessary bacteria created).
5. Do NOT sleep with your face down. You could snag the ring, and your pillow is filled with bacteria.
